Herd Share Agreement — $50 buy-in
A herd share is your ownership stake in our herd here at Hava Nagila Farmstead. When you purchase a herd share, you become a partial owner of our Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats, which entitles you to receive your share of the fresh, raw milk they produce each week.
As a herd share member you are not purchasing milk — you are receiving the product of animals you already own a share of. This is an important distinction that allows us to legally provide you with fresh unprocessed milk under Texas law.
Your weekly milk share will vary naturally based on lactation stage, season, and herd production. Current estimates are shared at enrollment and adjusted as needed based on who is in milk at the time. Nigerian Dwarf milk is prized for its high butterfat content — rich, sweet, and perfect for drinking, cheesemaking, kefir, and soap.
